Lehigh Valley Airshow

While designing the brochures, magazine ads, and billboards for the Lehigh Valley International Airport for 10 months LVIA asked me to lead and design the Lehigh Valley Airshow advertising material. Yes, I had a smile from ear to ear! I knew one of my challenges would be creating graphics that were uniquely engaging.

Since this was only the third year the Lehigh Valley Airport held this event, I decided to incorporate some of the previous year’s visual direction to help audiences make a visual connection. I drew inspiration from many places for this design in particular. In order to make a connection with people of all ages I designed a theme that would incorporate depth, fun, playful and sometimes nostalgic look and feel of paper airplanes.

While continuing my graphic design relationship with LVIA I went on to be in charge of designing every advertising piece from posters to billboards, digital ads, magazine and newspaper ads, party invites, program cover, brochures, social media, t-shirt, and even things as small as backstage and media passes. Over 30,000 people attended the Lehigh Valley Airshow in just two days! Shortly after the Lehigh Valley Airshow ended I became the Lehigh Valley International Airport’s design arm!
