When I first sat down with Kevin he expressed that there are many lawyers that have either scales, pillars, roman and law symbols in their logos. Kevin wanted to be different. I wanted to match the branding to his already established office environment (dark cherry wood sconces, brown leather chairs, maroon walls with white accents, and navy blue). Words that jumped out at me was Distinguished, Trusting, History, Comfort, Mellow, Warm and Dim. I drew inspiration from an envelope wax seal, the idea of a family crest (initials in a badge layout), family net worth (tree rings), ones assets (protect), and their identity (fingerprint).
